Removing hood compartment lid

Loosening wire harness for SDARS antenna





Installation position of hood compartment lid

1. Unclip plug connection for SDARS antenna -1- from the bracket -2- ( -arrow A- ).

2. Release plug connection for SDARS antenna -1- at the locking lug and pull it off -arrows B-.
3. Disengage wire harness for SDARS antenna -3- at the fastening part -4- ( -arrow C- ) and pull it off.

Removing hood compartment lid

1. Unscrew fastening nuts -1- on the hood compartment lid -arrow-.

Installing hood compartment lid

1. Position hood compartment lid on the hinges and screw down slightly with the fastening nuts -1- ( -arrow- ). Adjust the hood compartment lid to the contours of the side panel and rear lid and screw down the fastening nuts. -> 5000IN IN -Diagram - body gap dimensions=> Tightening torque: 9.7 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)

Securing wire harness for SDARS antenna

1. Press in wire harness for SDARS antenna -3- at the fastening part -4- and lock it -arrow A-.

2. Connect plug connection for SDARS antenna -1- ( -arrows B- ) until it engages securely.
3. Clip plug connection for SDARS antenna -1- into the bracket -2- ( -arrow C- ).
