Removing interior light

CAUTION

Danger of damage to property if bulbs are used or handled incorrectly!

- Risk of damage to bulbs and bulb housing.

-> Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.
-> To prevent short circuits, the load in question must be switched off while changing bulbs.
-> Only bulbs specified in the bulb table may be used.
-> Bulbs with a higher wattage may damage the bulb housing.
-> New bulbs must be clean and free of grease. Therefore, never touch the bulbs with your bare hands. Use a cloth or soft paper when changing bulbs.
-> In certain states, it is compulsory to carry spare light bulbs.





Installation position for interior light





1. Carefully loosen interior light -1- with a small screwdriver -Arrows A and B- and pull downwards out of the front lock -Arrow C-.

2. Release connector -1- on interior light -Arrow a- and pull it off. -arrow-.

Removing bulb for interior light

1. Loosen bulb holder with bayonet lock -1- from the interior light -direction of arrow- and remove it.

2. Take defective bulb out of the bulb socket.

Installing bulb for interior light

1. Insert new bulb into the bulb socket.

2. Insert bulb holder with bayonet lock -1- in the interior light and lock it -direction of arrow-.

1. Push connector -1- onto the interior light until it is felt to engage -arrow-.

2. Insert interior light -1- into the front lock -Arrow A- and press in and up -Arrow B-.
