1. Preliminary work for driver's seat.

1. Release wire harness.

1.1. Remove tie-wrap -1-.
1.2. Remove wire harness -2- from the two line brackets -3- ( -arrows- ).
2. Release connector socket -arrows a- and pull it out of the holder -arrow-.

3. Disassemble connector socket.

3.1. Remove tie-wrap -2- on the connector socket -1-.
3.2. Release connector socket -1- ( -arrows A- ) and remove the single connectors -3- ( -arrow B- ).
4. Remove front belt lock.

4.1. Pull wire harness -1- out of the metal clips -2- ( -arrow A- ).
4.2. Unscrew fastening screw -3-.
4.3. Pull out wire harness -1- and remove front belt lock -4- ( -arrow- ).

1. Disassemble connector socket.

1.1. Remove tie-wrap -2- on the connector socket -1-.
1.2. Release connector socket -1- ( -arrows A- ) and remove the single connectors -3- ( -arrow B- ).
2. Remove front belt lock.

2.1. Pull wire harness -1- out of the metal clips -2- ( -arrows A- ).
2.2. Remove tie-wrap -3-.
2.3. Unscrew fastening screw -4-.
2.4. Remove front belt lock -5- ( -arrow B- ).

1. Install front belt lock.

DANGER

Loosen the safety-related threaded joint.

- Danger of injury if belt lock is not screwed on correctly.

-> Always replace fastening screws for belt lock after customer service and reworking.
-> It is not permissible to make alterations to the microencapsulated screws (e.g. use lubricant, loosen bolts, and screw them down again).

1.1. Fit front belt lock -4- ( -arrow- ) and secure with the fastening screw -3-. => Tightening torque: 50 Nm (37 ftlb.)

Information

- The electric lead must not be routed too tightly around the seat cushion.

1.2. Route wire harness -1- and press it into the metal clips -2- ( -arrow A- ).
2. Assemble connector socket.

4. Secure wire harness.

4.1. Insert wire harness -2- into the two line brackets -3- ( -arrows- ).
4.2. Affix new tie-wraps -1-.

2.2. Fit a new tie-wrap -2- on the connector socket -1-.
