Preliminary work

1. Only for vehicles with wheel covers:
Remove front wheel cover.=> 661919 Removing and installing front wheel cover
2. Only when replacing the trim panel:
Remove moulding for wing. => 661719 Removing and installing moulding for wing

Installation position of wing trim panel

1. Insert a plastic wedge -1- under the front wing trim panel -2- ( -arrow A- ) and lever the wing trim panel off towards the outside -arrow B-.

2. Open the door and unhook the wing trim panel -2- by pulling it backwards -arrow C- out of the wing flange.
3. Slide fixing clips -3- out of the wing trim panel in direction of arrow.
4. Unclip fastening grommets -4- on the wing -arrow D-.

Information

Fastening grommets must be replaced before installing the wing trim panel.

1. Clip in fastening grommets -1- on the wing -arrow A-.

2. Slide fixing clips -2- into the wing trim panel -3- in direction of arrow.

Information

Make sure that the fixing clips lock with an audible click during fitting.

3. Hook wing trim panel -3- onto the wing flange -arrow B- and clip it in -arrow C-.

Subsequent work

1. Only when replacing the trim panel:
Install moulding for wing.=> 661719 Removing and installing moulding for wing
2. Only for vehicles with wheel covers:
Install front wheel cover.=> 661919 Removing and installing front wheel cover
