Preliminary work

1. Drain the cooling system. => 193817 Draining and filling coolant on DFI engines (includes bleeding) - section on "Draining"

Removing coolant regulator

1. Unscrew hexagon-head bolts. -20-
2. Remove cover on thermostat insert. -19-
3. Sealing ring must always be replaced. -9-
4. Replace the thermostat insert. -21-

Installing coolant regulator

1. Replace sealing ring.
2. Assemble in reverse order.
