Technical values





Preliminary work

1. Remove centre luggage compartment cover. -> 700619 Removing and installing trim panel for luggage compartment
2. Remove side luggage compartment light. -> 964019 Removing and installing luggage compartment light - section on "Removing" 964019 Removing and installing luggage compartment light
3. Remove switch for trailer hitch (if fitted). -> 666219 Removing and installing switch for trailer hitch - section on "Removing" Service and Repair
4. Remove C-pillar trim panel fully. -> 706819 Removing and installing C-pillar trim panel - section on "Removing" 706819 Removing and installing C-pillar trim
5. Remove cover for rear lock support. -> 703919 Removing and installing cover for rear lock support - section on "Removing" 703919 Removing and installing cover for rear lock support

Installation position of luggage compartment side trim panel

1. Unscrew rear fastening screws.

2. Unscrew front fastening screw.

3. Unclip fixing clips.

4. Pull off plug connection for plug socket. (if fitted).

5. Remove trim panel.

5.1. Reach in behind the trim panel and pull the trim panel forward -A-.
5.2. Detach trim panel from the lock support -B-.
5.3. Loosen front trim panel -C-.
5.4. Remove trim panel.

Installing side trim panel for rear luggage compartment

1. Place trim panel in installation position.

1.1. Fit front trim panel -A-.
1.2. Fit centre trim panel -B-.
1.3. Fit rear trim panel -C-.
2. Connect plug connection for plug socket.

3. Check that the plug connection is seated securely.
4. Clip in fixing clips.

5. Screw in fastening screw at the front => Tightening torque: 1.5 Nm (1 ftlb.).

6. Screw in fastening screws at the rear => Tightening torque: 1.5 Nm (1 ftlb.) and centre => Tightening torque: 1.5 Nm (1 ftlb.).

7. Pull rubber lip on rear lid seal out under the trim panel.

Subsequent work

1. Install side luggage compartment light. -> 964019 Removing and installing luggage compartment light - section on "Installing" 964019 Removing and installing luggage compartment light
2. Install switch for trailer hitch (if fitted). -> 666219 Removing and installing switch for trailer hitch - section on "Installing" Service and Repair
3. Install C-pillar trim fully. -> 706819 Removing and installing C-pillar trim panel - section on "Installing" 706819 Removing and installing C-pillar trim
4. Install cover for rear lock support. -> 703919 Removing and installing cover for rear lock support - section on "Installing" 703919 Removing and installing cover for rear lock support

Install luggage compartment cover at the centre. -> 700619 Removing and installing trim panel for luggage compartment (luggage compartment cover) - section on "Installing"
