Preliminary work

Installation position of rear seat-surface extension

1. Cut the relevant tie-wrap -1-.

2. Disconnect electric plug connection on the rear switch. -> 727619 Removing and installing switch for rear seat adjustment - section on "Removing" 727619 Removing and installing switch for rear seat adjustment
3. Unscrew fastening nuts.

4. Remove seat-surface extension in a downward direction at the front.

Installing rear seat-surface extension

1. Slide in and position seat-surface extension.

2. Tighten fastening nuts -2- to the specified tightening torque=> Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)+/-1 Nm (+/-0.5 ftlb.).

3. Plug in electric plug connection on the rear switch. -> 727619 Removing and installing switch for rear seat adjustment - section on "Installing" 727619 Removing and installing switch for rear seat adjustment
4. Replace the relevant tie-wrap -1- and secure the cable.
