- The heating elements for the seat padding are sewn into the heating pad.
Information
Rear seats without seat-surface extension:
- The longer heating pad is used here.
- The longer version of the heating pad has four bonding points on the seat cushion.
Rear seats with seat-surface extension:
- The shorter heating pad is used here.
- The shorter version of the heating pad only has three bonding points on the seat cushion.
1. Disconnect the intake plenum from the suction fan.
2. Pull off the heating pad at the bonding points and remove it together with the intake plenum.

3. Replace the old heating pad with a new heating pad.
4. Replace the bonding points -1- with suitable, commercially available cushion adhesive.

5. Position the new heating pad on the seat cushion and press it on at the bonding points.

6. Insert the intake plenum into the suction fan.
