Preliminary work

Remove centre console cover. => Removing and installing centre console cover - section on "removing"

Installing tilt sensor control unit

1. Push plug onto tilt sensor control unit until it is felt to engage.





Connect plug to tilt sensor control unit.

2. Check sheetmetal nuts for deformation, replacing if necessary. Push the two sheetmetal nuts -2- onto the tilt sensor control unit.





Tightening fastening screws for tilt sensor control unit

3. Position tilt sensor control unit -1- and secure with both fastening nuts. => Tightening torque: 3 ftlb.

Subsequent work

Install centre console cover. => Removing and installing centre console cover - section on "installing"
