Preliminary work

1. Remove upper part of rear trim panel. -> 709219 Removing and installing trim panel for tailgate - section on "Removing" Service and Repair

Removing antenna amplifier

NOTICE

Voltage peaks

- Risk of damage to load or to the control unit

-> Switch off ignition and remove remote control before disconnecting or removing load.





Installation position of antenna amplifier

1. Carefully lever out electric plug connection -A- using a small screwdriver and pull it out.

2. Release and pull off three electric plug connections -B- ( -a- ).
3. Release and pull off electric plug connection -a-.

4. Unscrew the fastening screw.





Releasing antenna amplifier

5. Lift up antenna amplifier -A- and remove it -B-.

Installing antenna amplifier

1. Insert antenna amplifier into the cut-out -A, B-.





Fitting antenna amplifier

2. Screw in fastening screw=> Tightening torque: 9 Nm (6.5 ftlb.).
3. Plug in electric plug connection until it engages securely.

4. Plug in three electric plug connections -A- until they engage securely.

5. Plug in electric plug connection -B-.
5.1. Check that the electric plug connection is seated securely.

Subsequent work

1. Install upper part of rear trim panel. -> 709219 Removing and installing trim panel for tailgate - section on "Installing" Service and Repair
