Preliminary work

1. Remove lower part of rear trim panel. -> 709219 Removing and installing trim panel for tailgate - section on "Removing" Service and Repair

NOTICE

Voltage peaks

- Risk of damage to load or to the control unit

-> Switch off ignition and remove remote control before disconnecting or removing load.





Removing rear lid buzzer

1. Pull out expansion rivets -1- and remove the buzzer from the rear lid trim panel -arrow A-.

2. Pull electric plug connection off the buzzer -arrow B-.

Installing rear lid buzzer

1. Plug in electric plug connection on the buzzer until it engages securely -arrow B-.

2. Position the buzzer on the rear lid trim panel -arrow A- and press in the expansion rivets -1-.

Subsequent work

1. Install lower part of rear trim panel. -> 709219 Removing and installing trim panel for tailgate - section on "Installing" Service and Repair
