Preliminary work

1. Remove selector knob. -> 370419 Removing and installing selector knob - section on "Removing"
2. Only when removing lower part:
2.1. Remove PCM display and operator control unit. -> 911019 Removing and installing PCM 3.1 display and operator control unit - section on "Removing" 911019 Removing and installing PCM 3.1 display and operator control unit
2.2. Remove upper part of centre console cover. -> 681919 Removing and installing centre console cover - section on "Removing"

Information

- The selector knob must be in the "N" position when removing the centre console cover.

- Move selector lever to "N" position.

1. Hold lower centre console cover -1- securely.
2. Insert tool assembly tool T10118 into the cut-out next to the selector lever -A- and lever off the cover -B-.

1. Hold the cover -1- securely at the front.

2. Insert tool assembly tool T10118 at the corners of the cover -1- and unclip the cover -arrows-.
3. Pull off plug connection -A- for the ashtray light -arrows- and pull it out of the centre console.

Installing cover for centre console

Installing centre console cover

1. Guide in the cable for the ashtray light and connect plug connection -A- ( -arrows- ).
Check that the cable is routed correctly.

2. Clip in lower part of cover.
3. Position upper part of cover and clip it in.

Subsequent work

1. Only when removing lower part:
Install PCM display and operator control unit. -> 911019 Removing and installing PCM 3.1 display and operator control unit - section on "Installing" 911019 Removing and installing PCM 3.1 display and operator control unit
2. Install selector knob. -> 370419 Removing and installing selector knob - section on "Installing"
