Removing cover under dashboard

Information

Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle. Naturally, some steps also have to be performed on the opposite side of the vehicle as well. These must be carried out as a mirror image of the steps shown.

Information

- To reduce the unclipping forces and thereby the risk of damage during removal, the removal steps must be carried out at the accessible connection points using a suitable tool.





Installation position of cover under dashboard

1. Unscrew fastening screw -2-.





Mounting for trim panel under dashboard

2. Pull cover under dashboard -1- out of the locks and swivel it down -A-.
3. Pull cover under dashboard -1- out of the guides -3- ( -B- ).
4. Release electric plug connection for light -a- and pull it off -A-.

5. Passenger's side only:Release electric plug connection for plug socket -a- and pull it off -A-.

Installing cover under dashboard

The cover under the dashboard is installed in reverse order to removal.
