Removing sun visor

Information

Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle. Naturally, some steps also have to be performed on the opposite side of the vehicle as well. These must be carried out as a mirror image of the steps shown.

1. Disengage adjustable part of the sun visor -1- from the mounting saddle and swivel towards the roof frame -A-.

2. Release mounting saddle.
2.1. Unclip cover -2- on the mounting saddle -3- with a screwdriver and open it -B-.
2.2. Unscrew fastening screw -4-.

3. Remove mounting saddle.
3.1. Fold rear sun visor -5- down.

3.2. Pull mounting saddle -3- back -D- and unclip it -E-.
3.3. Remove latch -6- from the mounting saddle -3- ( -F- ).

3.4. Swivel locking hook out of the headliner -7- ( -G- ).

4. Remove pivot bearing.
4.1. Carefully unclip cover on pivot bearing -1- at the rear with a screwdriver -A-.

4.2. Loosen expanding clip -2- for securing the pivot bearing -3- using a screwdriver -B-.

4.3. Unscrew fastening screw -4-.
4.4. Remove pivot bearing -3- with sun visor in a downward direction -C-.
4.5. Release electric plug connection -5- using a screwdriver -a- and pull it off -D-.

Installing sun visor

The sun visor is installed in reverse order to removal.
