Removing front seat trim

Information

Some of the repair illustrations show only one side of the vehicle. Naturally, some steps also have to be performed on the opposite side of the vehicle as well. These must be carried out as a mirror image of the steps shown.

Information

- To reduce the unclipping forces and thereby the risk of damage during removal, the removal steps must be carried out at the accessible connection points using a suitable tool.

1. Move front seat to the rearmost position.
2. Press in expansion rivet pin -1- and pull out the expansion rivet.

3. Pull the outside of the seat trim -2- at the rear outwards -A- and press it up at the same time -B-.
4. Pull the outside of the seat trim -2- forward out of the bracket -C-.

5. Release electric plug connection for seat adjustment -a- and pull it off -A-.

Removing storage tray under seat

1. Open up storage tray.
2. Unscrew fastening screws -1-.

3. Release the lock -1- on both sides using a screwdriver -A-.

4. Slide the storage tray back -B- and remove it from the guides -2-.

Installing front seat trim

Information

The expansion rivets must be replaced during installation and must not be re-used.

1. The front seat trim is installed in reverse order to removal.

1. The storage tray under the seat is installed in reverse order to removal.
