Preliminary work

Removing lumbar support





Installation position of lumbar support

1. Release and unplug electric plug connections for lumbar support adjustment motor -1- and lumbar curvature motor -2- ( -a- ).

2. Drill out blind rivets -3- using a suitable drill bit.

3. Fold the lumbar support up -arrow A- and press the retaining bars -4- at the left and right together.
Disengage retaining bars -4- from the backrest frame -arrow B-.





Removing lumbar support

4. Remove the complete lumbar support from the backrest frame.

Installing lumbar support

1. Press the retaining bars -4- together and engage them in the backrest frame -arrow A-.
2. Fold down lumbar support -arrow B-.





Positioning lumbar support

3. Join the lumbar support and backrest frame using a new blind rivet -3-.

4. Plug in electric plug connections for lumbar support adjustment motor -1- and lumbar curvature motor -2- until they engage securely.

Subsequent work
