Technical values





Preliminary work

1. Remove trim panel for centre window frame. -> 709219 Removing and installing trim panel for tailgate - section on "Removing" Service and Repair

Removing rear spoiler

1. Release electric plug connection for the antenna cable -a- and pull it off -B-.

2. Remove caps -1-.





Loosening rear spoiler

3. Screw off fastening nuts from the inside -2-.
4. Unscrew fastening screws from the inside -3-.
5. Use a plastic wedge to unclip the rear spoiler in direction of arrow -4-.
6. Remove rubber sleeves -2, 3- from the antenna and additional brake light from the rear lid -1- and pull out antenna cable.

7. Release electric plug connection -1- for the additional brake light -a- and pull it off -arrow-.

8. Remove rear spoiler.

Installing rear spoiler

1. Position rear spoiler.
2. Plug in electric plug connection -1- for the additional brake light -arrow- until the connector engages securely.

3. Guide in antenna cable and fit rubber sleeves -2, 3- from the antenna and additional brake light into the rear lid -1-.

4. Clip in rear spoiler -4- in direction of arrow.

5. Screw in -3- fastening screws.
6. Tighten fastening nuts -2- to => Tightening torque: 6 Nm (4.5 ftlb.).
7. Fit caps -1-.
8. Connect electric plug connection for the antenna cable -arrow- until it engages securely.

1. Install trim panel for centre window frame.-> 709219 Removing and installing trim panel for tailgate - section on "Installing" Service and Repair
