Preliminary work

1. Remove engine carrier. -> 103019 Removing and installing engine carrier on DFI engines 103019 Removing and installing engine carrier

Removing engine mounting

1. Remove engine mounting.
1.1. Loosen hexagon nut -A-.
1.2. Remove engine mounting.

Installing engine mounting

Information

- The engine mounts must be aligned using the engine carrier.

- The engine mounts differ (left/right) and must not be interchanged.

1. Install engine mounting.





Engine mountings

1.1. Fit engine mounting.
1.2. The dowel pin of the engine mounting must sit correctly into the cut-out on the engine carrier.
1.3. Fit fastening screws -arrows- but do not tighten yet.
1.4. The hexagon nut -A- must always be replaced and tightened to => Tightening torque: 75 Nm (56 ftlb.).
Fit the engine carrier to prevent the bearing from turning.

Subsequent work
