Fitting engine support

Information

- Some repair jobs involve suspending the engine on a suitable assembly support.

1. Remove right engine support arm. To do this, loosen the four fastening screws => Fastening screws

2. Fit the engine support engine support 3269. Make sure the mounting shaft is positioned centrally in the longitudinal direction of the engine. Fit the fastening screws. => Tightening torque: 45 Nm (33 ftlb.)





Engine support

3. Lift the engine with the workshop crane and secure it on the assembly support. To do this, guide the engine support straight into the assembly support WE 1171 or a similar support, without tilting it.
