Preliminary work
1. Drain refrigerant. -> 870317 Draining and filling refrigerant - section on "Draining" Service and Repair

Removing desiccator

Installation position of desiccator
1. Unscrew stopper -1- on the condenser and remove it in an upward direction.

2. Use pliers to pull the desiccator -2- up out of the condenser.

Information
- The desiccator must be replaced if the system suffers from operational faults (e.g. accident damage or air-conditioning system depressurised)!
- Used refrigerant oil extracted from a previously run A/C unit must not be re-used!
1. Replace both O-rings -3- on the stopper -1- and coat them with refrigerant oil.

2. Slide desiccator -2- into the condenser.

3. Place stopper -1- on the condenser and tighten it.

2. Fill in refrigerant. -> 870317 Draining and filling refrigerant - section on "Filling" Service and Repair
