Preliminary work

1. Remove upper trim panel at the rear. -> 709219 Removing and installing trim panel for tailgate - section on "Removing" Service and Repair

Removing control unit for antenna amplifier

NOTICE

Voltage peaks

- Risk of damage to load or to the control unit

-> Switch off ignition and remove remote control before disconnecting or removing load.





Installation position of control unit for antenna amplifier

1. Release electric plug connection -A- using a small screwdriver -a- and pull it out.

2. Release and pull off electric plug connection -B- ( -a- ).
3. Unscrew the fastening screw.

4. Lift up control unit for antenna amplifier -A- and remove it -B-.

Installing control unit for antenna amplifier

1. Insert control unit for antenna amplifier into the cut-out -A, B-.





Fitting control unit for antenna amplifier

2. Attach the ground lead and secure it with the fastening screw=> Tightening torque: 9 Nm (6.5 ftlb.).
3. Plug in electric plug connections until they engage securely.
