Vehicle can fall down

- Risk of squashing or crushing
- Risk of damage to the vehicle

-> Do not place any solid objects under the raised vehicle.
-> Ensure that the lifting platform is prevented from lowering.
-> Remove solid objects before lowering the vehicle.
-> Raise the vehicle only at the take-up points provided.
-> The outer take-up points should be used primarily.

When driving onto the lifting platform, bear in mind the work that needs to be carried out. In other words: if work has to be carried out in the front footwell, the vehicle should be positioned in such a way that the front doors can be opened far enough.

If the vehicle is a Cayenne with air suspension/levelling system, observe the following instructions:

Information

If the vehicle was raised on the lifting platform when the levelling system was switched on, it will automatically detect levelling platform mode and switch off the levelling system.

It is no longer possible to switch the levelling system on manually in lifting platform mode.

It will not be possible to carry out level adjustment, the component test or the drive link test.

- Driving the vehicle a short distance at more than 7 km/h (4 mph) will resolve this.

Adjusting vehicle to Normal Level

If the vehicle was moved in normal driving mode, the air accumulators are filled. If air pressure in the pressure accumulators is too low, the compressor comes on and loads the battery. In this case, a regulated power supply (charger) must be connected or the engine must be started (switch on extraction system!).

If the air suspension pressure accumulators are filled, switch on ignition and the vehicle can be set to normal level (listen for noise from the compressor!).

Adjusting vehicle to normal level
- Stop vehicle and apply brake.
- Close vehicle doors.
- Adjust the vehicle to terrain level. To do this, tap the rocker switch on the centre console in the appropriate direction until the vehicle is set to terrain level.
- Open the door.
- Select normal level.
- Get out and close the door. The vehicle switches to normal level.
- Deactivate the levelling system using the Porsche System Tester.

Switching off levelling system

To do this:
- Adjust vehicle to normal level.
- Switch on ignition.
- => Time: 10 s+5 s Press rocker switch forward.

The message Control switched off appears in the variable control display of the instrument panel.

Switching on levelling system

To do this:
- Switch on ignition.
- => Time: 10 s+5 s Press rocker switch forward or
- drive the vehicle. The levelling system comes on automatically.
