Preliminary work

1. Remove roof console. -> 708319 Removing and installing roof console - section on "Removing" 708319 Removing and installing roof console
2. Remove upper cover for interior rearview mirror. -> 682719 Removing and installing interior rearview mirror - section on "Removing"

Removing radio antenna

NOTICE

Voltage peaks

- Risk of damage to electrical load or to the control unit

-> Remove remote control and switch off ignition before disconnecting or removing electrical load.





Installation position of radio antenna

1. Switch off ignition and remove remote control.
2. Unplug two electrical plug connections -A-.

3. Detach the cable -1- , which is secured using Velcro, from the radio antenna -2-.
4. Screw off two fastening nuts -3- and remove radio antenna -2-.

5. Release electrical plug connection for the radio antenna -a- and pull it off -A-.

Installing radio antenna

1. The radio antenna -2- is installed in reverse order to removal.
