Preliminary work

1. Remove right engine compartment cover. -> 700219 Removing and installing front cover (engine compartment)

Removing torque support

1. Remove the two screws and nuts on the body and valve cover => Installation position of torque support (position of secondary air pump differs in illustration).

2. Remove torque support.

Installing torque support

1. Move torque support into installation position. When doing so, make sure that the part identification is legible on the back, in the opposite direction to the direction of travel.
1.1. Use new aluminium screws and nuts. Fit the two bolts and nuts on the body and valve cover. Once the component is installed correctly, tighten according to specifications. => Installation position of torque support (position of secondary air pump differs in illustration)

Subsequent work

1. Fit right engine compartment cover. -> 700219 Removing and installing front cover (engine compartment)
