Preliminary work

1. Remove cover for centre underbody at the left. -> 519319 Removing and installing cover for centre underbody - section on "Removing" Service and Repair

NOTICE

Voltage peaks

- Risk of damage to load or to the control unit

-> Switch off ignition and remove remote control before disconnecting or removing load.





Installation position of TPM antenna

1. Release electric plug connection -a- and pull it off -A-.

2. Unscrew both fastening nuts -1- and remove antenna from the holder.

Installing antenna for Tyre Pressure Monitoring (TPM)

Information

Before installing the antenna, visually check the antenna and plug connection with regard to the following points:

- Damage to the housing.

- Damage to the contacts on the antenna.

- Damage to the connector and contacts on the vehicle wire harness.

- Dirty contacts.

If the antenna is damaged, replace it.

If the wire harness, connector or contacts are damaged, repair them in accordance with the relevant safety instructions using the Repair kit for Cayenne wire harnesses NR.155-2.

If the contacts are dirty, clean them.

1. The Tyre Pressure Monitoring (TPM) antenna is installed in reverse order to removal.
2. Tighten the two plastic fastening nuts to the specified tightening torque => Tightening torque: 2 Nm (1.5 ftlb.).

1. Install cover for centre underbody at the left. -> 519319 Removing and installing cover for centre underbody - section on "Installing" Service and Repair
