WARNING
Hot fluid
- Danger of scalding
-> Let the fluid cool down.
-> Wear personal protective gear.
Information
- Vehicle must be horizontal to check oil level in all-wheel final drive.
1. Unscrew oil inspection plug -A- using tool special inserts model AB 170.

2. The oil level is correct if the oil reaches the lower edge of the inspection window.
3. If this is not the case, top up the oil. -> 399035 Checking and topping up oil for all-wheel final drive - section on "Topping up"
4. Screw in oil inspection plug -A- with a new sealing ring. To do this, use the special tool special inserts model AB 170 and accessory for torque wrench: open ring wrench insert a/f 13 with adapter 98-1. => Tightening torque: 35 Nm (26 ftlb.)

1. Unscrew oil inspection plug -A- using tool special inserts model AB 170.

- Use only oil approved by Porsche.
2. Fill in oil using manual metering pump WE 1372 up to the lower edge of the oil inspection plug -A-.
3. Screw in oil inspection plug -A- with a new sealing ring. To do this, use the special tool special inserts model AB 170 and accessory for torque wrench: open ring wrench insert a/f 13 with adapter 98-1. => Tightening torque: 35 Nm (26 ftlb.)
