Preliminary work

1. Carefully release spacer on lid hinge -1- from the door panel -2- ( -arrows- ) and remove it.

2. Disengage spring -1- from the guide mechanism -2- using a suitable pair of pliers.

3. Unclip damper -3- from the door panel -4-.

4. Press guide mechanism together at the left and right -2- using a suitable pair of pliers -arrow A- and disengage from the door panel -4- ( -arrow B- ).

1. Insert guide mechanism at the left and right -2- into the door panel -4- ( -arrow A- ) and engage it -arrow B-.

2. Position damper -3- in the door panel -4- and guide mechanism, and push it in until it engages at the groove.

3. Engage spring -1- in the guide mechanism -2- using a suitable pair of pliers.

4. Press spacer for lid hinge -1- into the door panel -arrows- until it is fully engaged.

5. Check cover for oddments tray to ensure that it opens and closes properly.

Subsequent work
