Preliminary work

1. Remove cover for front seat.

Removing front seat-surface extension

1. Lift up seat cushion -1- slightly at the front -A- and remove the two fastening screws -2-.

2. Remove the two fastening screws -1- from below.

3. Pull off connector -1- on motor for seat-surface extension -2- ( -A- ).

4. Remove seat-surface extension from the seat frame -arrows-.

Installing front seat-surface extension

1. Fit seat-surface extension into the seat frame -arrows-.

2. Plug in connector -1- on motor for seat-surface extension -2- ( -A- ).

3. Screw in the two fastening screws -1- from below and tighten to the specified tightening torque. => Tightening torque: 6.5 Nm (5 ftlb.)+/-0.5 Nm (+/-0.5 ftlb.)

4. Lift up seat cushion -1- slightly at the front -A- , screw in the two fastening screws -2- and tighten to the specified tightening torque. => Tightening torque: 6.5 Nm (5 ftlb.)+/-0.5 Nm (+/-0.5 ftlb.)

Subsequent work

1. Install cover for front seat.
