Technical values





Removing upper part of front lid lock

1. Open front lid.
2. Screw off fastening nuts -1-.

3. Remove upper part of lid lock -2-.

Installing upper part of front lid lock

Information

- The self-locking nuts must always be replaced.

1. Roughly position upper part of lid lock -2-.

2. Screw on fastening nuts -1- but do not tighten them.
3. Lower the lid slowly until the bar -1- for the upper part of the lock is touching the lower part of the lock.





Checking position

3.1. The bar -1- must be centred flush with the slit -2- in the lower part of the lock.
4. Open the lid again.
5. Tighten fastening nuts to the specified tightening torque => Tightening torque: 9.7 Nm (7.5 ftlb.).

Checking closing function of hook

1. Close the lid fully.
2. Release the lid.
3. Check that the hook holds the lid down.
4. Release the hook.
5. Check that the hook has released the lid fully.
