Technical values
Preliminary work
1. Preliminary work for upper torque support =>
1.1. Open the bonnet.
1.2. Remove right plenum panel cover. For details, see -> 852219 Removing and installing plenum panel cover 852219 Removing and installing plenum panel cover
Unscrewing fastening screws
1. Preliminary work for lower torque support =>
1.1. Remove front underbody panelling (engine guard). -> 519219 Removing and installing cover for front underbody 519219 Removing and installing Cover For Front Underbody
Removing torque support
1. Removing upper torque support =>
1.1. Remove the two screws and nuts on the body and valve cover => Installation position of upper torque support.

1.2. Remove torque support.
Removing lower torque support =>
1.1. Remove the two screws on the engine bracket and on the supporting frame => Installation position of lower torque support.

1.2. Remove torque support.
Installing torque support
1. Installing upper torque support =>
1.1. Move torque support into installation position. When doing so, make sure that the part identification is legible on the back, in the opposite direction to the direction of travel.
1.2. Use new aluminium screws and nuts. Fit the two bolts and nuts on the body and valve cover. Once the component is installed correctly, tighten according to specifications. => Installation position of upper torque support

2. Installing lower torque support =>
2.1. Move torque support into installation position.
2.2. Fit the two screws on the engine bracket and on the supporting frame. Once the component is installed correctly, tighten according to specifications. => Installation position of lower torque support

Subsequent work
1. Subsequent work for upper torque support =>
1.1. Fit right plenum panel cover. For details, see -> 852219 Removing and installing plenum panel cover 852219 Removing and installing plenum panel cover
Unscrewing fastening screws
1.2. Close the bonnet.
