DTC B2343 - Position Initialization Incomplete

DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when the sliding roof drive gear (sliding roof ECU) has not been initialized.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. INITIALIZE SLIDING ROOF DRIVE GEAR SUB-ASSEMBLY (SLIDING ROOF ECU)
(a) Check that the sliding roof drive gear can be initialized .
OK:
Sliding roof drive gear can be initialized.
NG -- INSPECT MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY (SLIDING ROOF SWITCH)
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK DTC
(a) Clear the DTCs .
(b) Check the DTCs .

B -- REPLACE SLIDING ROOF DRIVE GEAR SUB-ASSEMBLY (SLIDING ROOF ECU)
A -- END
3. INSPECT MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY (SLIDING ROOF SWITCH)





(a) Remove the map light .
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:






NG -- REPLACE MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY (SLIDING ROOF SWITCH)
OK -- Continue to next step.
4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MAP LIGHT - SLIDING ROOF DRIVE GEAR AND BODY GROUND)





(a) Disconnect the J3 drive gear connector.
(b) Disconnect the J4 map light connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:






NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- REPLACE SLIDING ROOF DRIVE GEAR SUB-ASSEMBLY (SLIDING ROOF ECU)
