Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

AIR CONDITIONING: AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM: DTC CHECK / CLEAR

DTC CHECK / CLEAR

1. CHECK DTC
(a) Connect an intelligent tester or Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the ignition switch to ON.
(c) Turn the tester on.
(d) Enter the following menus:
(1) Intelligent tester - Select: DIAGNOSIS / OBD/ MOBD / AIR CONDITIONER / DTC INFO /
(2) Techstream - Select: Body Electrical / Air conditioner / Trouble Codes /
(e) Read the DTCs.
2. CLEAR DTC
(a) Connect an intelligent tester or Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the ignition switch to ON.
(c) Turn the tester on.
(d) Enter the following menus:
(1) Intelligent tester - Select: DIAGNOSIS / OBD/ MOBD / AIR CONDITIONER / DTC INFO /
(2) Techstream - Select: Body Electrical / Air conditioner / Trouble Codes /
(3) Erase the DTCs.
