SUSPENSION: REAR COIL SPRING: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL REAR COIL SPRING UPPER INSULATOR






(a) Install the rear coil spring upper insulator onto the rear coil spring.
NOTE: Install the rear coil spring upper insulator so that the dimension between the stopper and the upper end of the rear coil spring is 10 mm (0.39 in.) or less.

2. INSTALL REAR COIL SPRING LOWER INSULATOR
3. INSTALL REAR COIL SPRING






(a) Install the rear coil spring onto the rear axle beam.
NOTE: Install the rear coil spring so that the identification mark is positioned as shown in the illustration.

4. TEMPORARILY TIGHTEN REAR SHOCK ABSORBER ASSEMBLY LH Installation

5. TEMPORARILY TIGHTEN REAR SHOCK ABSORBER ASSEMBLY RH
HINT: Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.

6. CONNECT SKID CONTROL SENSOR WIRE (for LH Side) Installation

7. CONNECT SKID CONTROL SENSOR WIRE (for RH Side)
HINT: Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.

8. INSTALL REAR WHEELS
9. INSTALL REAR FLOOR SIDE MEMBER BRACE SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

10. INSTALL REAR FLOOR SIDE MEMBER COVER RH

11. INSTALL REAR FLOOR SIDE MEMBER COVER LH

12. STABILIZE SUSPENSION Installation

13. FULLY TIGHTEN REAR AXLE BEAM ASSEMBLY Installation

14. FULLY TIGHTEN REAR SHOCK ABSORBER ASSEMBLY LH Installation

15. FULLY TIGHTEN REAR SHOCK ABSORBER ASSEMBLY RH
HINT: Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.

16. INSPECT REAR WHEEL ALIGNMENT Rear Wheel Alignment

17. CHECK VSC SENSOR SIGNAL Test Mode Procedure
