Removal

2AZ-FE COOLING: THERMOSTAT: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER

2. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT Service and Repair

3. DISCONNECT OUTLET RADIATOR HOSE

(a) Loosen the hose clamp and disconnect the outlet radiator hose from the water inlet.





4. REMOVE INLET WATER





(a) Remove the 2 nuts and disconnect the inlet water from the cylinder block.

5. REMOVE THERMOSTAT

(a) Remove the gasket from the thermostat.
