Circuit Description
Radiator fan motor is turned ON and OFF by its relay which ECM controls. Radiator fan motor is turned ON / OFF under the following engine coolant temp.
Radiator fan motor operation
When engine coolant temp. is 98 °C (208 °F) or higher: Radiator fan motor ON
When engine coolant temp. is Below 93 °C (200 °F): Radiator fan motor OFF

DTC Confirmation Procedure
NOTE: Check to make sure that the following conditions are satisfied when using this DTC Confirmation Procedure.
- Intake air temp.: -14 °C, 6.8 °F or higher
- Altitude (barometric pressure): 2400 m, 8000 ft or less (560 mmHg, 75 kPa or more).
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Clear DTC with ignition switch ON.
3. Warm up engine until engine coolant temp. is 98 °C (208 °F) or higher.
4. Check DTC and pending DTC.
