BRAKE CONTROL: YAW RATE AND DECELERATION SENSOR: REMOVAL

1. PRECAUTION

NOTICE:
After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work Service Precautions.

2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH (for Bench Seat Type) Removal

4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH (for Bench Seat Type) Removal

5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY (for Bench Seat Type) Removal

6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Bench Seat Type) Removal

7. REMOVE SEAT TRACK COVER (for Separate Seat Type) Removal

8. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Separate Seat Type) Removal

9. REMOVE FRONT FLOOR FOOTREST Removal

10. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH (for Regular Cab) Removal

11. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH (for Access Cab) Removal

12. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH (for Double Cab) Removal

13. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD LH (for Regular Cab) Removal

14. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD LH (for Access Cab) Removal

15. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD LH (for Double Cab) Removal

16. REMOVE SENSOR BRACKET

(a) Turn up the floor carpet.





(b) Remove the wire harness clamp.

(c) Remove the bolt and bracket.

17. REMOVE YAW RATE SENSOR





(a) Disconnect the yaw rate sensor connector.

(b) Remove the 2 bolts and yaw rate sensor.
