Parking Brake Lever: Adjustments

PARKING BRAKE: PARKING BRAKE LEVER:

ADJUSTMENT

1. REMOVE REAR WHEEL
2. ADJUST PARKING BRAKE SHOE CLEARANCE

HINT: (Reassembly)

3. INSTALL REAR WHEEL
Torque: 103 Nm (1,050 kgf-cm, 76 in-lbf)
4. ADJUST PARKING BRAKE LEVER TRAVEL
(a) Remove the shift lever knob sub-assembly (Removal).
(b) Remove the console upper rear panel sub-assembly (Removal).
(c) Remove the air duct rear No.1.





(d) Loosen the lock nut and turn the parking brake wire adjusting nut until the lever travel is correct.
(e) Using a wrench or equivalent to hold the parking brake adjusting nut, tighten the lock nut.
Torque: 5.0 Nm (51 kgf-cm, 44 in-lbf)
