Removal

AIR CONDITIONING: BLOWER UNIT:

REMOVAL

HINT:
- Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
- COMPONENTS: (Components) and (Service Precautions)

1. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD

HINT: (Removal)

2. REMOVE HEATER TO FOOT DUCT NO.1 (Removal)

3. REMOVE STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY

HINT: (Removal)

4. REMOVE ECM

HINT:
- 2AZ-FE (Removal)
- 3MZ-FE (Removal)

5. REMOVE BLOWER ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the connectors.
(b) Remove the screw, clamp and blower connector holder.

(d) w/ stereo component amplifier assembly:
Disconnect the 2 wire harness clamps.

(e) Manual A/C model:
Disconnect the 4 connectors and remove the clamp.
(f) Auto A/C model:
Disconnect the 3 connectors and remove the clamp.

(g) Remove the 2 screws, 2 nuts and blower assembly.
