INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK FUSE
(a) Inspect the ALT fuse in the engine room R/B.
Standard resistance:
Below 1 Ohms
(b) Inspect the D.C.C fuse in the engine room J/B.
Standard resistance:
Below 1 Ohms
(c) Inspect the ECU-B, ECU ACC, GAUGE 1 and AM1 fuses in the driver side J/B.
Standard resistance:
Below 1 Ohms
NG -- INSPECT SHORT CIRCUIT IN COMPONENTS AND WIRES CONNECTED TO FUSE
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. INSPECT COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the combination meter connectors.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:

NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- REPLACE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY
