Engine Immobilizer System (w/o Smart Key System)

THEFT DETERRENT / KEYLESS ENTRY: ENGINE Immobilizer SYSTEM (w/o Smart Key System): DTC CHECK / CLEAR

DTC CHECK / CLEAR

1. CHECK FOR TRANSPONDER KEY ECU DTC
(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the ignition switch to ON.
(c) Turn the Techstream on.
(d) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Immobilizer / Trouble Codes.
(e) Check the details of the DTC(s) Engine Immobiliser System (w/o Smart Key System).
2. CHECK FOR ECM DTC
(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the ignition switch to ON.
(c) Turn the Techstream on.
(d) Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Trouble Codes.
(e) Check the details of the DTC(s) Engine Immobiliser System (w/o Smart Key System)for engine Immobilizer system, Engine Control System - SFI System for SFI system).
3. CLEAR TRANSPONDER KEY ECU DTC
(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the ignition switch to ON.
(c) Turn the Techstream on.
(d) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Immobilizer / Trouble Codes.
(e) Clear the DTCs.
4. CLEAR ECM DTC
(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the ignition switch to ON.
(c) Turn the Techstream on.
(d) Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Trouble Codes.
(e) Clear the DTCs.
