Engine Immobiliser System (w/ Smart Key System)

THEFT DETERRENT / KEYLESS ENTRY: ENGINE IMMOBILISER SYSTEM (w/ Smart Key System): DTC CHECK / CLEAR

1. CHECK FOR CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY) DTC

(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the engine switch on (IG).

(c) Turn the Techstream on.

(d) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Smart Key / Trouble Codes.

(e) Check the details of the DTC(s) Engine Immobiliser System (w/ Smart Key System).

2. CHECK FOR ECM DTC

(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the engine switch on (IG).

(c) Turn the Techstream on.

(d) Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Trouble Codes.

(e) Check the details of the DTC(s) Engine Immobiliser System (w/ Smart Key System)for engine immobiliser system, SFI Systemfor SFI system (2GR-FE), SFI System for SFI (1AR-FE)).

3. CLEAR FOR CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY) DTC

(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the engine switch on (IG).

(c) Turn the Techstream on.

(d) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Smart Key / Trouble Codes.

(e) Clear the DTCs.

4. CLEAR FOR ECM DTC

(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the engine switch on (IG).

(c) Turn the Techstream on.

(d) Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Trouble Codes.

(e) Clear the DTCs.
