Crankshaft needle bearing, removing and installing
Special tools and equipment
^ Kukko 21/2 and Kukko 22/1
or
^ Extractor 10-202
^ Centralizing pin 3176
or
^ Drift 207 c
Note:
^ When installing an engine in a vehicle with a manual transmission check that the rear needle bearing is installed. Install bearing if necessary.
^ When installing an engine in a vehicle with an automatic transmission check if the rear needle bearing is installed. The bearing must NOT be installed; remove bearing if necessary.
Removing
- Pull out with puller-A-, e.g. Kukko 21/2 and Kukko 22/1 or 10-202.
Installing
- Drive in with drift 207c or centralizing pin 3176.
^ Inscribed side of needle bearing must be visible when installed.
Needle bearing insertion depth
^ Dimension a = 1.5 mm
