Function
Diagnostic Mode 01 makes it possible to access current emissions-related measured values and diagnostic data. The original measured values (no replacement values), input and output data and system status information are displayed using Diagnostic Mode 1.
Prerequisite
• Coolant temperature must be at least 80° C => PID 5, Coolant temperature.
Procedure
- Connect diagnostic tester.
- Depending on the desired operating condition: switch on ignition
or start engine and let run at idle.
- Under address word 33, select "Diagnostic mode 1: Checking measured values."
- Select the desired measured values "PID XX".
• The specified values for the respective measuring values can be found at the respective component- and Function Tests.
• The following list only serves as an overview.
• The measuring values are sorted according to the PID (parameter identifications).
• Bank 1 = Cylinder bank 1, in direction of travel, right.
• Bank 2 = Cylinder bank 2, in direction of travel, left.
- End diagnosis and switch ignition off.
