Wiper Motor From Wiper Frame

Pry Lever (80-200)

Removing

- Pry off ball head - arrow - of linkage - 1 - from motor crank using (80-200) or a suitable screwdriver.





- Remove hex nut - 1 -.





- Remove motor crank - 2 - from wiper motor shaft.

- Remove mounting bolts - arrows - and remove retaining plate - 3 -.

- Remove wiper motor with control module down and out of wiper frame.

Installing

- Insert wiper motor with control module, fitting the recesses - arrows - in linkage, into wiper frame.





- Place the retaining plate - 1 - on and screw in the mounting bolts - arrows -.





- Tighten the bolts - arrows - to the specification shown in => [ Specifications ] Specifications.

- Place motor crank - 2 - onto wiper motor shaft.





Different versions of the retaining plate from two manufacturers are installed.

- The manufacturer of the version installed can be determined by the stamp on the retaining plate.

- Adjust the distance - a - between the fixed stop point on retaining plate - 3 - and motor crank - 2 - to the following dimension:

- Bosch: Dimension - a - = 2.7 mm

- Mitsuba: Dimension - a - = 6.4 mm

- Screw engine crank tightly on wiper motor shaft with the nut - 1 -.

- Tighten the nut - 1 - to the tightening specification shown in => [ Fastener Tightening Specifications, Windshield Wiper and Washer System ] Fastener Tightening Specifications, Windshield Wiper and Washer System.

- Push ball head - arrow - of linkage - 1 - onto motor crank.
