Coolant Drain & Fill Procedures

Coolant Drain & Fill Locations:

Heater Controls:

DRAINING COOLANT:

1. Set dashboard heater control to max. heat.
2. Disconnect battery.
3. Unscrew cap from expansion tank.
4. Open drain cock on right side of cylinder block. Attach hose to cock to prevent spillages
5. Disconnect lower radiator hose from radiator.
6. Close cock, re-connect lower radiator hose and battery.

FILLING COOLANT:

NOTE: Capacity = approx. 9.5 liters (10 US qts).

1. Ensure heater controls are set to max heat.
2. Add coolant through expansion tank.
3. Warm-up engine and top up as required.
4. Re-fit expansion tank cap.
