Checking the auxiliary relay
- Ignition off.
- Disconnect the auxiliary relay.
Connect an ohmmeter between 1 on the connector and ground.
The ohmmeter should show approx. 0 ohms.

If the value differs:
^ Check the chassis connection and wire leading to it for breakage according to CD. CD. Checking of Wiring




- Ignition off.
Connect an ohmmeter between 3 on the connector and 1 on one of the injectors.
The ohmmeter should show approx. 0 ohms.

If the value differs:
^ Check the wiring between connection 3 and the injectors for signs of breakage according to CD. CD. Checking of Wiring




- Ignition off.
Connect a voltmeter between 4 and 1 on the connector
The voltmeter should show battery voltage.

If the value differs:
^ Check the wire between connection 4 and the battery for breakage according to CD. CD. Checking of Wiring




- Ignition on.
Connect a voltmeter between 2 and 1 on the connector
The voltmeter should show battery voltage.

If all values are OK:
^ Test with a new auxiliary relay.

If the values differ:
^ Check the wire between connection 2 on the auxiliary relay and connection 87/i on the [1][2]system relay for breakage according to CD. CD. Checking of Wiring
