HC1




Checking the spark plugs
Check that the spark plugs are not worn and that none of the plugs is lighter in colour than the others.

If all the plugs are OK:
^ Checking of ignition cables HC2.

If one of the spark plugs is lighter in colour than the others:
^ Checking the injectors HC3

If any of the spark plugs are worn:
^ Replace all the spark plugs if there are signs of wear on one or more.
^ Continue with Checking of ignition cables HC2.

Checking of ignition cables
Check that none of the ignition cables are damaged.

If the Ignition cables and spark plugs are OK:
^ Mechanical overview HC4.

If any of the Ignition cables are damaged:
^ Replace all the ignition cables.

Checking the injectors
If any of the spark plugs are lighter in colour than the others, this indicates that this cylinder is receiving too little fuel.
^ Test with a new injector.
^ Replace all the spark plugs.

Mechanical overview
- Perform a compression test.

If the compression is OK:
^ Connection of measurement box HC5.

If compression is uneven:
^ Check valve clearance.
