Check Resistance In Ground Lead [EF5]

Check Resistance In Ground Lead





- Ignition off.
- Disconnect wheel sensor.
- Disconnect control module.





Connect an ohmmeter between wheel sensor terminal 2 and test box:
- #27 (DTC 3-1-4)
- #28 (DTC 3-1-3)
- #29 (DTC 3-1-2)
- #30 (DTC 3-1-1).

Ohmmeter should read approx. 0 Ohms.

If reading is OK:
- Check if signal lead short-circuited to ground lead EF6. Check Signal Lead For Short to Ground Lead [EF6]

If reading is incorrect:





- Front wheel sensors: Check lead between wheel sensor connector terminal 2 and control module #29 (DTC 3-1-2) and #30 (DTC 3-1-1) for open circuit as per HA2. Open Circuit [HA2]

- Rear wheel sensors: Check ground lead connector EF8. Checking Ground Lead Connector [EF8]
