Checking Pump Motor Circuit Resistance to Ground [EL9]

Checking Pump Motor Circuit Resistance To Ground





- Ignition off.
- Disconnect combination relay 4-pin connector.





Connect an ohmmeter between combination relay 4-pin connector terminal 1 and ground.





Ohmmeter should read infinite resistance.

If reading is OK:
- Check pump motor EL10. Checking Pump Motor [EL10]

If reading is incorrect:
- Check lead between pump motor and combination relay 4-pin connector terminal 1 and 3 for short:-circuit to ground as per HA3. Short Circuit to Ground [HA3]

- If leads are OK, try another hydraulic unit as per NE. Hydraulic unit, replacement. Service and Repair
