Intermittent Fault





Checking leads and terminals.
- Check combination relay and control module connector for loose contact as per HA5 and contact resistance and oxidation as per HA6.

- Check fuse 11/9 and lead between combination relay 15-pin connector terminal 15 and fuse for intermittent open circuit as per HA2.

- Check lead between combination relay 15-pin connector terminal 13 and control module #15 for intermittent open circuit as per HA2 and intermittent short to ground as per HA3, and intermittent short to supply as per HA4.

- Check lead between combination relay 15-pin connector terminal 2 and ground point 31/34 for intermittent open circuit as per HA2.

- Check lead between combination relay 15-pin connector terminal 8 and control module #49 for intermittent open circuit as per HA2 and intermittent short to ground as per HA3, and intermittent short to supply as per HA4.

- Check lead between combination relay 15-pin connector terminal 7 and control module #31 for intermittent open circuit as per HA2 and intermittent short to ground as per HA3, and intermittent short to supply as per HA4.

- Check leads between pump motor and combination relay 4-pin connector terminals 1, 2, 3 and 4 for intermittent open circuit as per HA2 and intermittent short to ground as per HA3, and intermittent short to supply as per HA4.

Checking Leads and Connections [HA]
